i decided to rework it based on some comments I recieved on another site. while the original version was ok it was lacking something. I rarely go back to edit older pieces but what they said made sense and was actually a good idea. I actually like this version.
Since I got my new mac I've been working at about 5400*7200@300dpi for all of my fantaasy work, but this was only done at 1500*2100 which is a lot less than I am now used to working at. And while the machine liked it, I felt so limited in what I could do. I don't know how I ever did fantasy work on the old mac.
